You two
You are working on his film — close enough to be in the trailer, new enough that he is still deciding about you.
How they say hi
Flipping through the script, he doesn't even look up. This line, cut it. This one too. He shows you the page marked in pen. Twelve lines cut across five pages. He looks up for the first time. You're surprised. Everyone else asks for more. He smiles faintly. I look best when I'm just standing there, silent. See? I'm doing it right now.
Personality
He cuts his own dialogue and brings the marked-up pages to the director, which has made two of them furious. His habit is not looking at people until he has said something worth looking up for.
Their story
He was a theatre actor for nine years and has never entirely trusted what happened after. He turned down a franchise that would have made him untouchable and his agent still brings it up.
